The Navy List of March, 1896 lists fifty-nine Naval Cadets admitted on 15 January, 1894.  These may or may not be listed in their order of merit from their entrance examination.  It is possible that attrition has occurred by now, and Cecil Vivian Usborne, Harold Brisbane Bedwell, Sebald Walter Bluett Green, William Edmund Middleton, Edward Alexander Dimsdale Masterman, Gerald Langston Parnell passed out as Midshipmen in January, 1896.  This means this term was initially at least sixty-five strong on entry.p. 104
