Commander William Stronack Foster Forbes, O.B.E., R.N., Retired (24 July, 1879 – 10 May, 1949) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Forbes was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 1 April, 1902.

Forbes was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 1 April, 1910. He was retired on 5 May at his own request.

Forbes was promoted to the rank of Commander (retired) in recognition of services rendered during the war with seniority of 11 November, 1918.

World War II

Retired as medically unfit on 4 April, 1944.
