H.M.S. Pigeon was one of one hundred and three destroyers of the "M" class built for the Royal Navy during the Great War.

Service

Pigeon joined the Thirteenth Destroyer Flotilla immediately after the Battle of Jutland, in June 1916.[5]

She operated with 13 D.F. until November 1917 when she was one of eight "M"s evicted from the flotilla.[6] One month later, she took up service in the Second Destroyer Flotilla, part of the Northern Division of the Coast of Ireland Station.[7]

Pigeon was reduced to C. & M. Party at the Nore on 20 October, 1919.[8]
