H.M.S. Pasley was one of one hundred and three destroyers of the "M" class built for the Royal Navy during the Great War.

Service

In August, 1916, Pasley joined the Thirteenth Destroyer Flotilla.[6]

On 19 August, she, Negro and Pelican assisted the torpedoed sloop Falmouth by taking her under tow.[7]

In November 1917, she was one of eight "M"s evicted from the Thirteenth, being sent directly to the Fourth Destroyer Flotilla where she was under the command of the Commander-in-Chief, Devonport.[8]

She was reduced to C. & M. Party at Devonport on 21 October, 1919.[9]

Dates of appointment are provided when known.

Alterations

In 1916, she was one of sixteen light cruisers and destroyers to trial a Wise Pressure Telegraphy System Type B for torpedo control.[18]
