H.M.S. Marmion was one of one hundred and three destroyers of the "M" class built for the Royal Navy during the Great War.

Service

Marmion served as part of the Eleventh Destroyer Flotilla from its inception in August, 1915. She and Musketeer missed participating in the Battle of Jutland, however.[8][9]

Marmion was accidentally rammed by Tirade on 21 October, 1917 when the two were escorting a convoy across the North Sea. Tirade suffered little damage, but Marmion foundered after attempts to take her under tow faltered.[10]
