U.S.S. Laub was one of one hundred and fifty-six Clemson Class destroyers completed for the U.S. Navy.
Service
Laub was commissioned on 17 March, 1919 with Commander William F. Amsden in command.
Laub was one of the fifty U.S. destroyers transferred to the Royal Navy in 1940, becoming H.M.S. Burwell.
