U.S.S. Dallas was one of one hundred and fifty-six Clemson Class destroyers completed for the U.S. Navy.
Service
Dallas was commissioned on 29 October, 1920 with Lieutenant James T. Roach in temporary command. Lieutenant Alexander R. Early assumed command on 10 November, 1920.
