H.M.S. Cattistock was one of one hundred and fourteen Hunt Class minesweepers completed for the Royal Navy.

Service

After working on mine clearance in the Baltic with the Eleventh Fleet Sweeping Flotilla, in January 1920, Cattistock, Holderness, Oakley and Heythrop were ordered to be paid off at Portsmouth and taken to Harwich to be placed in the hands of Care and Maintenance Parties.[8]

Paid off at Portsmouth, 15 January, 1920.[9]

In January, 1921, she was at Harwich, one of forty-one paid off minesweepers there.[10]
