Temporary Lieutenant R.N.R. William Wilson, D.S.C., R.N.R. ( – ) served in the Royal Naval Reserve.
He is not the same man as the older Vice-Admiral William Wilson. His page title bears a "(b)" to disambiguate the two.
Life & Career
Wilson was promoted to the rank of Temporary Acting Lieutenant R.N.R. on 28 August, 1915.[1]
In January, 1917, he was lent to Godetia to be in charge of the Fourth Minesweeping Flotilla. He remained there until being ordered to report to the Admiralty on 30 April, 1917.[2]
Wilson was promoted to the rank of Temporary Lieutenant R.N.R. on 19 June, 1917.[3]
Demobilised 11 December 1919.[4]
