H.M.S. Fareham was one of one hundred and fourteen Hunt Class minesweepers completed for the Royal Navy.
Service
Fareham paid off to a C. & M. Party on 22 November, 1924[7] and completed, seemingly, to Reserve Complement the same day.[8]
Re-commissioned with Reserve Complement on 26 September, 1929.[9]
Re-commissioned in Reserve at Malta on 13 January, 1937.[10]

- Lieutenant R.N.R. in Command William H. Evans, 17 September, 1918[11] – 11 January, 1919[12] (may have returned to command briefly before 11 February)
- Temporary Lieutenant R.N.R. in Command William Wilson, 11 January, 1919[13] – 11 December, 1919[14] (initially, during Evans's illness, then properly appointed 11 February)
