H.M.S. Meteor was one of 103 destroyers of the "M" class.

Service

On 24 November, 1914, Meteor was made half-flotilla leader of First Destroyer Flotilla.[5]

In April 1915, she was transferred to the Tenth Destroyer Flotilla[6]

In March, 1917, she was sent to the Sixth Destroyer Flotilla of the Dover Patrol.[7]

Alterations

In 1915 or 1916, she was one of sixteen light cruisers and destroyers to trial a Wise Pressure Telegraphy System Type B for torpedo control.[10]
