H.M.S. Trusty was one of sixty-seven "S" class destroyers built for the Royal Navy as the Great War was ending. She was completed after the war.

Service

Trusty was re-commissioned in Reserve at Portsmouth on 24 August, 1920.[6]

She arrived at Dover on 21 February, 1923.[7] The next day, Vincent Paul Freeman was considered to blame for the total loss of C.M.B. 82c while Trusty had her under tow.[8]

She left Portsmouth for Pembroke on 12 November 1923,[9] arriving the next day.[10]

Trusty was commissioned on 6 October, 1927 and assigned to the Rosyth Maintenance Reserve.[11]
