Vice-Admiral Harold Tom Baillie-Grohman, C.B., D.S.O., O.B.E., R.N. (16 January, 1888 – ) was an officer in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Born in Victoria, British Columbia, the son of W. A. Ballie-Grohman, Esq..

Baillie-Grohman was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 July, 1909.[1]

Baillie-Grohman was appointed in command of the destroyer Lively on 15 March, 1914.[2]

Baillie-Grohman was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 30 July, 1917.[3]

Baillie-Grohman was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1923.[4]

Baillie-Grohman was promoted to the rank of Captain on 30 June, 1930.[5]

World War II

Baillie-Grohman was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on 15 January, 1941.[6]

Baillie-Grohman was promoted to the rank of Vice-Admiral on 7 November, 1943.[7]
