H.M.S. Garth was one of one hundred and fourteen Hunt Class minesweepers completed for the Royal Navy.
There was an escort destroyer of the same name launched in 1940.
Service
Garth paid off at Grimsby on 9 September, 1919.[8]
In January, 1921, she was at Harwich, one of forty-one paid off minesweepers there.[9]

Someone named "G. E. Blackburn" was reportedly appointed in command on 24 May 1919, but TNA and Navy Lists have no idea who that might be.[14]
