H.M.S. Pangbourne was one of one hundred and fourteen Hunt Class minesweepers completed for the Royal Navy.
Service
Paid off 23 September, 1919.[7]
In January, 1921, she was at Southampton, one of twenty-eight paid off minesweepers there.[8]
Commissioned on 22 March 1927, by early 1929 she was with the First Minesweeping Flotilla, bearing the formation's Senior Officer.[9] She remained in this role until at least early 1933.[10]
She re-commissioned at The Nore with "the equivalent of a Reserve crew" on 7 May, 1934. By mid-1937, she was in the Reserve Fleet at The Nore.[11]
