H.M.S. Windsor was one of twenty-one "W" class destroyers completed for the Royal Navy in 1917-18.
Service
Windsor was commissioned on 15 August, 1918.[8]
She was re-commissioned at Port Edgar on 27 September, 1923 to serve with the Sixth Destroyer Flotilla in the Atlantic Fleet.[9]
Re-commissioned at Portsmouth on 3 May, 1926 for service with the Sixth Destroyer Flotilla in the Atlantic Fleet.[10]
Re-commissioned at Portsmouth on 1 January, 1929 for service with the Sixth Destroyer Flotilla in the Atlantic Fleet.[11]
