H.M.S. Pegasus was a civilian vessel purchased on 27 February, 1917 and completed as a seaplane carrier.

There was also an earlier cruiser named Pegasus.

Service

Recommissioned at Rosyth on 2 December, 1919.[5]

Re-commissioned at Devonport on 26 February, 1924.[6]

Reduced to reserve on 7 May, 1925.[7]

Paid off into Dockyard Control, likely at Devonport, on 6 November, 1928.[8]
