Captain Francis James Wylie, (24 September, 1896 – ) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

The son of the Right Honourable Mr. Justice Wylie, a Judge of the Supreme Court in Ireland.[1]

Wylie was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 October, 1917.[2]

Wylie was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 October, 1925.[3]

Wylie was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1930.[4]

Wylie was promoted to the rank of Captain on 30 June, 1938.[5]

World War II

Wylie was placed on the Retired List on 8 July 1947. In 1948, he proceeded to Denmark on business. He became involved in the business of the International Telegraphy Union.[6]
