H.M.S. Rodney was one of two Nelson Class dreadnoughts completed for the Royal Navy.
Service
Commissioned at Devonport on 7 December, 1927.[7]
She was grounded on 9 October, 1935 in circumstances involving another vessel, M.V. Atlas. Captain Custance was faulted for the misfortune.[8]
