Commander (retired) Geoffrey Henry Hughes-Onslow, D.S.C., R.N. (28 November, 1893 – ) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Hughes-Onslow passed out of Royal Naval College, Dartmouth in April, 1910 ranked 32nd of 77 cadets in marks on the Part I examination.[1]
Hughes-Onslow was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 January, 1916.
Post-War
Hughes-Onslow was placed on the Retired List at his own request upon his relief in Caledonia (perhaps Caledon?) on 30 August, 1920.
Hughes-Onslow was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 30 January, 1924.
World War II
Hughes-Onslow was promoted to the rank of Commander on 8 May, 1946.
