H.M.S. Hyperion was one of thirty-five "G","H" and "I" Class destroyers completed for the Royal Navy.

Service

Commissioned on 3 December, 1936 for service with the Second Destroyer Flotilla in the Mediterranean as a sub-division leader in the flotilla.[4][5]
