H.M.S. Gipsy was one of thirty-five "G","H" and "I" Class destroyers completed for the Royal Navy.
Service
Commissioned at Devonport, on 22 February, 1936 for service with the First Destroyer Flotilla on the Mediterranean Station.[4]
