Commander (retired) Maurice Percy Berkeley Portman, (7 August, 1884 – 17 August, 1928) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Portman was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 June, 1906.

Portman was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 30 June, 1914.

Portman was placed on the Retired List at the rank of Commander on 4 August, 1926. He would die about two years later of symptoms related to the flu.
