Henry William Steele

Captain (retired) Henry William Steele, R.N. (4 February, 1855 – 4 January, 1916) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Steele was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 20 November, 1880.

Married Selena May Symonds on 2 May, 1889.

Steele was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1895.

Steele was placed on the Retired List at his own request with the rank of Captain and was allowed to acccept command of Wornwall Training Ship on Retirement on 26 November, 1903.
