Commander (retired) Henry Kelsall Beckford Mitchell, R.N. (9 September, 1894 – ) was an officer in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Mitchell was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant with a seniority adjusted to 15 April, 1916.
On 8 September, 1920, Mitchell was placed in charge of a crew party for German submarines at Harwich.
Mitchell was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 April, 1924.
Mitchell was promoted to the rank of Commander on 9 September, 1934.
Mitchell was appointed in command of the submarine H 51 on 5 October, 1920.[1]
Placed on the Retired List on 21 January, 1929.
