Henry Evans Freke Aylmer

Rear-Admiral (retired) Henry Evans Freke Aylmer, C.B.E. (6 September, 1878 – 16 August, 1933) was an officer in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Aylmer was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 April, 1900.

Aylmer was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1912.[1]

Aylmer was promoted to the rank of Captain on 31 December, 1917.

Aylmer was appointed in command of the light cruiser Lowestoft on 1 September, 1919.[2]

Retired upon his relief on 9 January, 1923.

Aylmer was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on the Retired List on 18 May, 1929.
