H.M.S. Haldon was one of thirty-two Ascot Class paddle minesweepers completed for the Royal Navy.
Service
Haldon struck a mine on 7 August, 1917. It appears that there were no deaths in the affair, as no entry exists in the Roll of Honour.[7][8]
In January, 1921, she was at Southampton, one of twenty-eight paid off minesweepers there.[9]
