Coast of Scotland Station
The Coast of Scotland Station, also rendered as the Scottish Command, was instituted in 1913.
Limits
The boundaries of the station were defined in October, 1913, as:
The line drawn from the western end of the Boundary of Scotland to the position Lat. 54 30 N, Long. 4 35 W., thence to a position one league from the coast of Ireland in Lat. 54 30 N., thence following the limit of the Irish Command (one league from the coast of Ireland) to the northward until the meridian of Long. 7 20 W. is reached, thence to Lat. 58 N., Long 9 W., thence to Lat. 61 N., Long. 3 W., thence to Lat. 61 N. on the meridian of Greenwich, thence to 55 46 N. on the same meridian, and thence to the eastern end of the Boundary of Scotland.[1]

The appointment was instituted in 1913 as Senior Officer on the Coast of Scotland. From 1 July, 1916, the title was altered to Commander-in-Chief, Rosyth.[2]
