41 Naval Cadets entered the Royal Naval College, Dartmouth in September, 1905, under the old regulations for the Britannia (closed in July, 1905), and therefore did not attend the Royal Naval College, Osborne under the Selborne Scheme. In July, 1906, they went to sea to complete their initial training in the cruiser Isis.[1]
The following candidates obtained the thirty-three places following competitive examinations starting on 11 July, presented here in order of merit.[2] This list does not automatically correspond to actual entry into the Navy.
