Commander (retired) Ambrose Northorp Lee, R.N. (3 April, 1890 – 26 December, 1951) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
The son of a retired solicitor, Lee entered the Navy as it was transitioning to the new training scheme for cadets and was sent directly to the Royal Naval College, Dartmouth as part of the September 1905 intake term.
Lee was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 November, 1911.[1]
He was appointed to Arrogant for duty in the submarine C 16 on 25 August, 1913.[2]
Post-War
Lee was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 November, 1919.
Lee was placed on the Retired List with the rank of Commander on 23 June, 1933.
