H.M.S. Hermione was one of eight Astræa class cruisers completed for the Royal Navy between 1894 and 1896.

Service

Hermione was to be re-commissioned at Portsmouth on 3 July, 1913 for service in the West Atlantic.[7]

She recommissioned at Southampton on 11 January, 1916.[8]
