H.M.S. E 45 was one of 57 submarines of the "E" class.

Service

The British felt that on 19 October, 1917, E 45 sank UC 79 at 52deg 16' N., 2deg 46' E., but later they would learn that this U-boat was not lost until 1918.[6]
