Commander (retired) William Hamilton Heath Sinclair Thomson, R.N. (19 January, 1878 – 31 December, 1948) was an officer in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Born in Peterborough.
Thomson was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 31 December, 1900.
Thomson was appointed in command of the destroyer Flying Fish on 26 July, 1906.[1]
Thomson was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 31 December, 1908.
In August, 1914, he was appointed in command of the destroyer Derwent.[2]
Thomson was placed on the Retired List at his own request at the rank of Commander on 31 January, 1921.
