In early 1906, she was with the Channel Fleet's First Destroyer Flotilla, based in Portsmouth and tender to Sapphire.[9]

She was one of twenty-seven T.B.Ds. of the Portsmouth Flotilla to participate in the Annual Manoeuvres of 1909.[10]

In March, 1910, she was with the Fourth Destroyer Flotilla, part of the Third Division of the Home Fleet.

In mid-1913, she was with the Third Destroyer Flotilla.[11]

By July, 1914, she was with the Sixth Destroyer Flotilla. She stayed with that formation until being lost in a collision on 26 March, 1917.
