Commander R.N.R. (retired) Robert Bannister Lyness, R.D. (29 November, 1874 – ) served in the Royal Naval Reserve.
Life & Career
Lyness was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant R.N.R. on 3 December, 1908.
Lyness was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander R.N.R. on 3 December, 1916.[Fact Check]
Lyness was placed on the Retired List at the rank of Commander R.N.R. on 13 January, 1920.
