Captain (retired) John Palmer Landon, R.N. (6 August, 1883 – ) was an officer in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Born in Calcutta.

Landon was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 1 April, 1906.

Landon was appointed in command of the destroyer Erne on 31 July, 1912.[1]

Landon was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 1 April, 1914.

Landon was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1918.

On 2 September, 1918, Landon was appointed in command of the submarine Seraph.[2]

Post-War

Retired on 31 August, 1922.

Landon was promoted to the rank of Captain (retired) on 6 August, 1928.
