H.M.S. Active was one of eleven "A" Class destroyers completed for the Royal Navy.

Service

Active was commissioned at Portsmouth on 10 April, 1930.[1]

Re-commissioned at Portsmouth on 19 October, 1932.[2]

Re-commissioned at Portsmouth on 23 July, 1935.[3]

She commissioned at Malta on 23 February, 1937.[4]
