H.M.S. E 33 was one of fifty-seven "E" class submarines completed in Britain before and during the Great War.

Service

In June, 1920, E 33 was the only "E" class submarine listed as being in active service, performing oceanographic work under command of Lieutenant Blackburn.[6]
