Life & Career
Bennitt was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 April, 1920.[1]
He was placed on the Retired List on 8 March 1923.[2]
Bennitt was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 April, 1928.[3]
World War II
In 1941 it was reported that he was a prisoner of war in Vichy hands.[4]
Bennitt was promoted to the rank of Commander on 8 May, 1946.[5]
