Commander (retired) Francis Theodor Hare, R.N. (16 August, 1890 – ) was an officer in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Born in Hornsby, London. Although his service record states that he was part of the January, 1906 term at Britannia, the date makes it more likely that he was part of this term at Royal Naval College, Osborne.
Hare was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 August, 1912.
Hare was appointed in command of the destroyer Manly on 17 July, 1918.[1]
Post-War
Hare was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 30 August, 1920.
Hare was placed on the Retired List upon his own request on 9 September, 1920. He was promoted to the rank of Commander (retired) on 16 August, 1930.
