H.M.S. Circe was one of eleven Alarm class torpedo gunboats built for the Royal Navy.
Service
Left Sheerness on 14 June 1914 for Welsh waters to join the Minesweeping Flotilla, which was then listed simply as a list of six "Mine-sweeping Gunboats" in the Navy List.[6]
