H.M.S. H 33 was one of forty-four "H" class submarines completed for the Royal Navy in the 1910s.
Service
In March, 1925 she and H 26 and H 43 comprised Group "F" Submarines in Reserve at Portland under the command of Lieutenant George C. P. Menzies.[6]
In early 1926, she was still in Group "F" at Portland, but with just one other submarine.[7]
On 1 March, 1926, she was placed under the command of Lieutenant-Commander Christopher de Saumarez Brock, seemingly liberated from group "F".
By mid-1931, she was with the Sixth Submarine Flotilla[8] remaining there until at least early 1933.[9]
On 15 September, 1932 H 33 collided with the minesweeper Dundalk.[10]
By mid-1934, she had moved to the Fifth Submarine Flotilla, where she remained until at least mid-1937.[11][12]
