Lieutenant-Commander THE HONOURABLE Byron Plantagenet Cary, Baronet ( – 16 September, 1917) was a submarine officer in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Cary was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 31 December, 1908.[1]
Cary was appointed in command of the submarine A 11 on 26 September, 1912.[2] He was re-appointed in command on 4 March, 1913.[3]
He was appointed in command of the submarine C 10 on 1 June, 1914.[4]
He died when his G 9 was rammed and sunk by Pasley in error on 16 September, 1917.[5]
