H.M.S. Vectis was one of twenty-five "V" class destroyers completed for the Royal Navy in 1917-18.
Service
Vectis commissioned on 15 November, 1917.[5] In December 1917, she joined the Thirteenth Destroyer Flotilla.[6]
She re-commissioned on 27 August, 1920.[7]
Vectis was re-commissioned at Devonport on 4 December, 1923. By March, 1925 she was serving with the Ninth Destroyer Flotilla with the Atlantic Fleet.[8]
She was re-commissioned with Reserve Crew on 23 November, 1925.[9]
She commissioned on 31 January, 1927 for service with the Seventh Destroyer Flotilla in the Atlantic Fleet.[10]
Vectis completed a boiler re-tubing at Sheerness Royal Dockyard on 1 March, 1927.[11]
Vectis was next commissioned on 1 April, 1928.[12]
