H.M.S. C 3 was one of thirty-eight "C" class coastal submarines completed for the Royal Navy.
Service
On 8 April, 1914, C 3 left Sheerness for Harwich to join the Fifth Submarine Flotilla.[5]
She was destroyed when she was used as a demolition bomb in the Zeebrugge Raid, successfully destroying a viaduct to isolate the Mole during the attack.
