Rear-Admiral (retired) Charles William Winnington-Ingram (7 June, 1856 – 18 January, 1923) was an officer in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Winnington-Ingram was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 8 December, 1879.
Winnington-Ingram was promoted to the rank of Commander on 1 January, 1894.
Winnington-Ingram was promoted to the rank of Captain on 30 June, 1901.
Winnington-Ingram was appointed in command of the first class protected cruiser Argonaut in October, 1909.
"Compulsorily" retired with rank of Rear-Admiral 20 September, 1910.
He died in Bristol, as reported in The Times on 20 January, 1923.
