Captain (retired) Alexander Keith Jones, R.N. (20 February, 1870 – 5 July, 1938) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Jones was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 June, 1892.[1]

Jones was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 October, 1905.[2]

Jones was placed on the Retired List at his own request at the rank of Captain on 3 June, 1912.[3]

Jones commanded the steam yacht Albert III from 11 March 1916 to 11 March 1918.[4]

He reverted to the Retired List as of 15 August, 1919 after a year in the role of Senior Naval Officer, Jamaica.
