Acting Commander Noel Stephen Tindall, (26 December, 1881 – 15 May, 1919) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Tindall was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 26 June, 1901. He was awarded the Goodenough Medal for 1901, being the Sub-Lieutenant who achieved the highest gunnery examination while also achieving a first-class certificate in seamanship. He also received the Beaufort Testimonial that year. [1]

Tindall was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 26 June, 1909.[2]

Tindall was granted the acting rank of Commander on 8 June, 1915.[3]

He died at Royal Naval Hospital, Malta of pneumonia.[4]
