H.M.S. H 22 was one of forty-four "H" class submarines completed for the Royal Navy in the 1910s.

Service

In 1925, she was part of the Third Submarine Flotilla.[6]

In mid-1927, she was one of three "H" class boats comprising Group "E" Submarines in Reserve at Portland, under the collective command of Lieutenant-Commander E. B. Clark, appointed 23 May, 1927.[7]
