H.M.S. Ganges, also known as Shotley Training Establishment, was a boys' training establishment at Shotley, Harwich. At various times, the man commanding Ganges was also in command of the Training Establishment, but sometimes different men held these positions. In general, a captain of Ganges might be lower in rank, and his name would appear below a horizontal line on the Navy List entry for Ganges.

It was first established as a training centre in 1865.
